Well, it was a good week for me. I lost another 3 lbs, which puts me at 211.5. I also reached a very exciting milestone – running a 5k! The last time I ran a 5k was when I was 20 weeks pregnant with my baby girl who is now almost 5 months. Soo…it’s been awhile. And it feels GREAT! Of course I’m a little sore, but it’s a good sore. It’s amazing what you can do when you push yourself. Every time I would think about running more than a couple of miles, I would feel anxious, like it was too hard for me to do just yet (excuses, excuses). So I just said I was going to do it – and I did. I love pushing myself because once I do what I thought I couldn’t, I love the wonderful sense of accomplishment that I get. Here’s to more 5k’s over the next 3 months while I get back into swimsuit shape!
